He was truly loved. his loves were horses - gambling and the races and going to highdown pub in freshwater isle of wight, he gave alot back to society, building the local hospital, bridges, waterworks, sea defences and back gang chile. He arrived on the isle in 1977 and leaves 2024, in those years he made a huge footprint, leaving friends and family to continue his energetic and charismatic lifestyle. He brought his team from Jersey and was the first or one of the first civil engineering companies on the isle. His team worked hard and played hard, the highdown was full of laughter. He saw the highdown as his base, were he would meet up with friends, make new friends and spend many meals with family. The later part of his life he would walk the warren with his dog arriving at the highdown to spend the afternoon chatting to friends and strangers, who all would say he was a charming irish man.
